There comes a point when you decide you want to upgrade your vehicle. Whether it be your personal vehicle to a business vehicle, you can never go wrong with a wrap. If you are just looking to add text then lettering would be a good option. Both options can be used for personal and business vehicles, but what is the difference between them?

1. Application Time

The main difference between vehicle wraps and lettering is the size. Lettering is usually done in smaller sections, which makes it quick and easy but still considered durable and of good quality. This means that it is possible for someone to do it on their own but if they are not experienced, there is a risk of air bubbles or it looking slanted if not applied correctly. If you are willing to invest a little more time and money, then a vehicle wrap is probably the way to go.

2. Branding

Another thing you should think about is what you want your vehicle to portray. Small lettering and decals are a good way to add personality to your personal car. This is also something that you can buy online and do yourself if you feel confident with your skills. If you are looking to upgrade a business vehicle, you might want to consider making it fit the brand of your company. Small lettering jobs might not be enough to catch the viewer's eye and show them what your company is about. For this reason, a partial or full wrap might be a better option. With a wrap, you are able to use text, color, and images that are already in your branding and add them to your vehicle. It can be as detailed or simple as you want because it is all custom.

3. Overall Value

Overall, vehicle wraps probably have more value than a simple lettering job. Unlike lettering, wraps add a protective layer to your vehicle's original paint. You're able to completely change the color and design of your vehicle while still being able to return it to its original form. Lettering isn't the wrong choice if you just need text. It all depends on what you need and want for your vehicle.

Are you thinking about wrapping different kinds of vehicles in your fleet? No matter how many vehicles you have in your fleet, this is never a bad idea. The important thing to remember is that your wraps need to have consistency from one vehicle to the next. Here are a few reasons why it might be a good idea to mix up your fleet graphics.

1. It's an Affordable Option

If you already have vehicles within your company, why not just work with them? It's more affordable to wrap the vehicles you have than to sell them and try to buy new ones. You might have different roles that people hold within your company so they may have different types of vehicles. Each vehicle wrap can be designed to fit that specific vehicle and match the role of the individual while still staying on brand.

2. It Can Make Your Company Look Larger

If you have a mixed fleet then it will seem as though your company is larger than it already is. If you have different vehicles, it may mean a different role or need for each one which seems like you have a lot of employees.

3. Vehicle Wraps Can Translate to Any Type of Vehicle

When you first go to get a vehicle wrapped, it is always good to let the designer know if you have different types of vehicles. Designs can easily be changed around in order to fit on another type of vehicle while still matching the brand. Each wrap does not have to look exactly the same, they can each have their own personalities within the brand.

1. Reviews Help You Get Found Online

When searching for a business online, there is a good chance you are going to see what others have to say about their personal experiences there and it will probably be one of the first things you see. Google takes the number of good reviews your company gets to determine where your business will fall versus the competitors. The more good reviews means the better chance you will be higher when people search in your field.

2. Reviews Give Your Business Credibility

When people leave a review, they are not gaining or losing anything. They just want to share their personal experience, whether it was good or bad. Studies show that close to 90% of consumers trust online reviews as much as they trust personal recommendations.

3. Reviews Impact Purchasing Decisions

There is a good chance that someone is going to do a lot of research before they spend time or money on your business. Nearly 70% of customers are influenced by online reviews which means if you don't have good reviews, you probably won't be the business they go with.

4. Reviews Provide Important Feedback

There is a lot you can learn from the reviews that are left about your business. Paying attention to the reviews that are left can help you do more of the good things and less of the bad things that you might not have known you were doing. Plus, you can use positive reviews to confidently market what you find to be most popular with your customers.

Vehicle wraps are one of the best forms of outdoor advertising, but if they are not taken care of properly, they won't last as long as they should.

When taken care of properly, a vehicle wrap can last anywhere from 5 to 7 years. He is a few tips on how to keep your wrap looking its best.

1. Hand wash your vehicle

While handwashing may take a little longer than going through a carwash, it is the most recommended way to keep your wrap clean. Use a soft rag and a nonabrasive cleaning to avoid scratching or scraping the vinyl. If you have a larger vehicle, like a box truck or transit van, and a pressure washer is needed, make sure that the water pressure is no higher than 800-2000 psi. Also, remember to use sweeping motions so that the vinyl doesn't rip or wear down. Never pressure wash if you see loose edges, as it can cause further damage.

2. Storing Your Vehicle

Too much UV exposure on your wrap is never a good thing. You can drastically protect your vehicle wrap from the elements just by parking your vehicle in a spot with more shade or under a covered area. Too much sun exposure can cause damage such as cracking, fading, or peeling, therefore cutting the lifespan of your wrap short.

3. Call a Professional

If you begin to notice any kind of damage or fading to your wrap, make sure you call a professional and don't try to fix it yourself. We have trained installers who are ready to help you with whatever you may need in order to keep your wrap looking its best.

What is Brand Consistency?

Brand consistency is the practice of always delivering messages aligned with the core brand values in the same tone, presenting the brand logo in a similar way, and repeating the same colors throughout your visual brand elements

1. Consistency makes your brand feel more dependable

When you have a brand, that usually means that the aspects of that brand flow from vehicle to vehicle and even to the website and other signage or advertisements. If all of your advertisements have a completely different feel from one another, then there is a good chance your customers will become confused. You want people to be able to recognize your brand and know what you provide in a professional way. If your brand flows together nicely and looks professional, then your customers will view you as dependable and trustworthy. Therefore they will be more willing to invest their time and money into your services.

2. Consumers trust brands they recognize

The purpose of branding your fleet is to make it so that your company is recognizable and memorable. When a consumer looks at your vehicle, you want them to be able to immediately know what service you provide. You also want to have a design that will stick in a consumer's mind so that when they need a service, they will think of you. If someone sees a companies fleet of vehicles multiple times while driving around town, there is a better chance that that company will get called for a new job over a company that might have little to no mobile advertisements.

No matter what the vehicle is, with small changes, we are able to make your design fit and flow nicely. PDQ is one company that we work with that demonstrates brand consistency extremely well.

Vehicle wraps are a great way to promote your business around the community. Commercial Vehicle wraps are a relatively straightforward way of advertising where you can build your design as detailed or as basic as you need in order to match your brand identity. The wraps can be put on in a timely manner and will last for a few years, despite the changes in weather.

1. Advertisements that Aren't Stationary

Since your advertising on the road, you are guaranteed to reach a larger audience considering how much we all drive each day. No matter where you go, new people will always be viewing your wrap which can mean more customers for you in the long run.

2. Hard to Miss but Not too Overwhelming

Vehicle wraps are a more subtle way to advertise but will still stand out on the road. The graphic you use has staying power because, unlike radio and television ads, viewers do not have to option to just change the station but have to continue looking at the road since they do not have the option to look away. If someone is driving next to your wrapped vehicle, there is a good chance they will look at it at least once because it looks different from all the other cars on the road.

3. Protective and Easy to Change

Vehicle wraps are installed in a way where they are meant to last 3-5 years but there is always the option to have the installer peel it off and reinstall something new. This makes it easy for your wrap to match your brand as it develops. Aside from various marketing benefits that you will get from your wrap, the vinyl will also provide a protective barrier from things like chips and scratches. Therefore, a goof vinyl job will protect your vehicle and keep it looking like new for years to come.

4. One Time Cost

It is more worth your while to invest in a vehicle wrap because it is a one-time fee unlike other advertising campaigns such as Google, Television, or radio ads. The cost of these types of advertisements will continue to increase the longer you have them, whereas a vinyl wrap will be good for a few years.
